Nothing could get me frantically trawling eBay on the search for a toy car bundle faster than this amazing magnetic car mural. Not only does it create a fantastic piece of 3D wall art, but it’s also a brilliant way to store a collection of toy cars. You can adapt it to suit the number of cars you need to store and either have it high on the wall like this one, or down at child height so that they can access the cars themselves.
All you need are wall-mounted magnetic strips such as the Grundtal magnetic knife rack from good old Ikea and you’re good to go. This is definitely something on my to-do list – I just need to find that perfect toy car bundle first….

Check cars contain a magnetic material first. Only one of my grandson’s collection of cars would stichk to the magnet 🙁
