Creepy and gross worm-infested Halloween treats

Creepy DIY worm-infested halloween treats | Growing Spaces

These creepy crawly Halloween treats are so gross that I actually felt a bit squeamish about touching them, but the kids (unsurprisingly) thought they were totally cool! Icky, slimy worms peeping out from a pot of dirt, this is a quick, easy and fun DIY sweet treat to put together for visiting guests over Halloween. All you need is some Oreos, jelly worms (or I used jelly snakes with their heads cut off), chocolate sauce and cupcake cases.

Crumble up the Oreos to make the soil and fill a cupcake case. Half bury a jelly worm so that its head and tail are sticking out. Drizzle over some chocolate sauce (this makes the worm look nice and slimy), and then sprinkle a tiny bit more crushed up biscuit over the top to make the worms even dirtier-looking. I popped my cupcake cases into little seedling pots (cut down to size) and made sure there was some mud (chocolate sauce) oozing disgustingly down the side. Properly creepy.

Very creepy, I’m not sure I could eat these! Very fun for a party though!
