Living room makeover – little changes make a big impact

You might have seen glimpses on my Instagram feed, but I don’t think I’ve shared photos here of our living room makeover and how just a few small changes have made a big difference to how the space feels. I had to keep it under wraps for ages as it was part of a style makeover with West Elm that was featured in the AW16 issue of 91 magazine, but now the mag has been out for a few months, I think it’s time I showed you how we’ve updated the space. Creative Christmas tree decorating inspiration

Classic Scandi-style tree on My Scandinavian Home I really had no idea how much I’m drawn to a simple, Scandi-style Christmas tree until I typed ‘Christmas tree decorating ideas’ into Pinterest. There are some really simple steps stylists and designers use to create this luxurious look, and…

Creating a reading nook with Sharps fitted furniture

When I first visited the Sharps flagship showroom on Baker Street, there was an empty space between the two spacious fitted wardrobes in the Henley set. With the window above, we decided it was the perfect spot to build a window seat – extra storage with drawers below, and a comfy seat on top (upholstered in the same fabric as the headboard). Reading nooks are big news in interiors right now – little cosy spots to snuggle up with a good book – so that’s exactly what I wanted to use the window seat for when I gave the bedroom a relaxed country…
