Family glamping in the Dordogne

Our family holiday this summer came close to being pretty much our best ever. It takes quite a lot to beat nearly five weeks touring around Europe, but our trip to the Dordogne in France this year ticked so many boxes that I had to share the details with you. Things to do in Queenstown when you’re four: Lake Hayes

  Yesterday I wrote about Arrowtown, and just a short drive (about five minutes) from there is Lake Hayes – a perfect spot to head to after a morning in Arrowtown. While Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown itself is so large that the water is cold all year, Lake Hayes is lots smaller and so the water is much warmer for padding and swimming.
