Half of me can’t fathom how quickly those years have flown by, the other half can’t imagine a year without the Just So Festival knitted into the fabric of our family life. We struck lucky with the weather on the weekend we spent at Wriggly Tin with Canopy & Stars – it was unexpectedly warm and sunny (so unexpected I failed to pack the appropriate clothing!), so it meant we got to really enjoy exploring the site. Wriggly Tin isn’t set up for kids, but for me that’s a huge positive. There’s no playground, swing, playroom or ice creams, but the twins weren’t bored for a second. occupying themselves from the moment they got up until they were tucked up for the night in their bunkbeds. We have just enjoyed a weekend in North Norfolk, staying in the most picturesque flint cottage – one of Norfolk Country Cottage’s 400 independent holiday cottages dotted across the county. We chose the gorgeous Blacksmith’s Cottage in Great Bircham as our base – it was full of character with its beamed ceilings and woodburner, and was so comfortable, immaculate and well-appointed that we wanted to move in for good!
