Inspired ideas for family interiors

I ♥ You Because…

Our advent calendar is down (though not the rest of the decorations yet) because I saw a great idea on Pinterest and couldn’t wait to do my own version on our blackboard wall. My lovely husband cooked us an amazing dinner of steak and fondant potatoes on New Year’s Eve, so the first entry on our ‘I ♥ You Because…’ board pays homage to that.

Gorgeous idea. Seen similar on a frame.

Yep, the one I saw on Pinterest was in a frame. I spent five mins on ebay looking for a vintage frame and then decided to draw one on instead! I actually prefer it in the end I think, though it’s a bit wonky so it could do with tidying up.

You can either buy blackboard paint or there are blackboard stickers around that are even easier! Check out brume.co.uk for a good range of blackboard wall stickers.

You know you can use a sticker to create a non-permanent blackboard? Brume.co.uk has a good range.
