Back in August (!) I blogged about customising the interior of the twins’ wardrobe to do away with the hanging rail and make way for more shelves. What I wanted to create was a separate area for hanging the few clothes that the twins have that really need to go on hangers. A friend has a short shop-style rail with a shelf above it which I’ve always liked but we’re a bit short of wall space in the kids’ room. So when Vertbaudet, the sponsors of my MAD award category, offered me something from their interiors range to review, their coat stand immediately appealed as a solution to our hanging problem.
I’ve always lusted after a traditional coat stand but haven’t ever had the perfect spot for one so I love the style of this mini stand and it’s definitely addressed our storage needs in that room.
Vertbaudet also sent us this wall coatrack, and we’ve put it up on the wall in the playroom for the twins’ bags and fancy dress so they can grab them easily themselves.
