Styling the Seasons: February

: Styling the Seasons, by Apartment Apothecary and Lotts and Lots :
“Reflect the change of seasons and show those changes in your own home, by styling any surface (shelf, dining table, mantelpiece) with something you like to reflect the new month and what it means to you”

February snowdrops for Styling the Seasons | Growing SpacesLaura Ashley are collaborating with Katy and Charlotte for this month’s Styling the Seasons. Our challenge was to use some wallpaper and items from the SS15 range to help us style up our surface. I love it when the snowdrops start appearing in February, heralding the first signs that spring might be on its way at last and I wanted to borrow some of their freshness for the new String shelving in my home office, so I planted up this copper effect planter – the copper tones add warmth and contrast to the clean whites. To introduce some pattern I’ve framed a small piece of the Spring Trail wallpaper. The sunshine yellow details give a little taster of what spring has hopefully got to offer.

This is lovely, Heather. I really like the earthy tones and how cleverly you’ve softened the hard lines of the shelving. Love the snow drops too xx

Such a lovely fresh styling post! I just adore that copper planter too (a little bit addicted to copper at the mo… Lol).
    Good luck!
