Christmas with Thornback and Peel

Thonback and Peel Christmas card bunting | Growing SpacesI’ve loved the quirky designs from Thornback & Peel since they launched the business back in 2007. With their fun Victoriana-inspired prints and a focus on the natural world, what’s not to enjoy? They really come into their own at Christmas, and have launched a beautiful Christmas collection of screen-printed homeware – from trays to oven mits.

I got my hands on a few products to style up for Christmas (check out the #TandPXmas hashtag). I found it too hard to choose between the Christmas designs, so I picked out a set of Christmas cards instead. The cards are litho printed on beautifully thick card and the set of eight includes Stag, Partridge, Turkey, Goose, Deer, Robin, Squirrel and Sprout stick. Now I know Christmas is all about giving, but I didn’t want to part with the cards, so I’ve made them into some bunting to hang in our living room this year. All it took was a length of ribbon and a glue gun, and my bunting was done in five minutes. It’s added a real sense of fun to our festive decorations, and I’m sure it’ll be something that we bring out every year.
