Is it April already? How on earth did that happen? March was definitely one of those blink-and-you-miss-it months, although we seem to have achieved a fair amount around the house. Here’s what I’ve been sharing over on my Heather’s Space YouTube channel, in case you missed anything (do subscribe if you want to make sure you get to see the videos as soon as I post them). As you’re probably more than aware, March has been big on decluttering for us, as I embarked on The 30 Day Minimalism game. Here’s me, right at the start, attempting to film a… View Post

Ok, so I met up with a few of my favourite people yesterday (Sarah-Lou, Katy, Jeska, Mel and Emma I’m looking at you), and I got a slap on the wrist for not doing a bit more shouting about my YouTube channel, Heather’s Space, and the videos I’ve been sharing over there recently. So to remedy this, I thought it might be an idea to post a monthly update here on the blog of what’s been going on video-wise, starting with  February. First up, we had we have a video about my easy plant pot hacks (basically a video tutorial… View Post

After my post about ways to give terracotta plant pots an update, I decided it was time to get out the paintbrushes and have a go myself. A lot of of my houseplants needed replanting into larger pots, but I needed to find a cheaper DIY alternative to buying a load of smart, new plant pots. This week’s Heather’s Space video (have you subscribed yet and if the answer’s no, why not do it right now?!) is… View Post

Today I’m celebrating the fact that I’ve been brave enough to do something that scares me and I’ve been putting off for ages – I’ve launched my very own brand new YouTube channel! So if you were a fan of the videos I created for the Heather At Home channel in collaboration with housetohome.co.uk, head right on over to subscribe to Heather’s Space, where in my first video I turn an old rusty iron gate into this moodboard for the previously blank wall in my office. Each Thursday I’ll share a new video, from my DIY projects at home, to… View Post

There’s some exciting video news I can’t wait to share with you soon – half term and a nasty bout of tonsillitis has rather messed with my video mojo but I’ll be returning to YouTube soon with some fun-packed (and informative, of course) videos shot from home. I can’t wait to get filming again. If you have any subjects you think I should tackle in one of my vlogs or a burning interiors question or debate you’d like my take on, do let me know – I always love hearing your ideas and suggestions. In the meantime, you may have… View Post
