Inspired ideas for family interiors

{How To} Display kids’ Christmas artwork

Having written previously about how I’m rather particular about my Christmas tree, I’ve been left wondering what to do with the copious amounts of Christmas crafts and artwork the twins produce during the festive season.

Inspired by an idea for displaying cards by clever stylist Ali Bradshaw for Ideal Home’s Complete Guide To Christmas, I decided to adapt it very slightly to display the kids’ favourite pieces. I used washi tape to mark out the shape of a tree on our magnetic board (put together with these panels from Ikea), and then I could hold up each piece using magnets. This would work equally well on a normal wall, using blue tack to stick up the bits.

I need to add a few more festive things to the boards each side of the tree, but it’s great to have a place to put up the Christmas masterpieces, and the kids loved helping me create their personal Christmas tree gallery.

I love this and am inspired. You could have done one on your chalk board magnet thing too
