Since we swapped our old double bed in the guest room for a Hemnes daybed from Ikea to free up some floor space, we’ve needed to come up with a bedside table solution. The drawers pull out to turn the single bed into a double, but once we’ve done that there isn’t space for a bedside table between the bed and doorway, so we decided a wall-mounted option was our best bet. March has been about a renewal of our decluttering efforts, and about finishing off all those snagging tasks to make the house finally feel more finished and a whole lot calmer. As I’ve cleared out the clutter, I’ve been able to give the things I really love more space to be displayed. This month’s #urbanjunglebloggers challenge from Igor and Judith was about grouping plants together to celebrate their diversity – combining sizes, shapes, colours and textures. I decided that the String shelving system in my office was the perfect spot to show off my gang.
