Inspired ideas for family interiors

{Make it} 25 Homemade advent calendar crafts

The 1st December is nearly upon us, and this year I’m determined not to get caught out by forgetting our advent calendar, as I did last year. A homemade advent calendar adds something extra special to the run up to Christmas and it can create a fantastic display in your home – something a bit more creative than your everyday shop-bought chocolate-filled offering. Plus, a lot of handmade advent calendars can be re-used year after year, so your calendar can become one of your festive traditions for years to come. My sewing skills leave more than a little to be desired, so I’ve pulled together 25 of my favourite craft ideas for DIY advent calendars and I reckon there’s still enough time to make any of them before next weekend.

Happy crafting!

I adore this collection – I keep checking back to look at it! I love the lucky dip idea, I’m going to wrap up our Christmas book collection and do this 🙂

Can I have all of them please? Great spots. Must get myself in gear and have a go at these next year!
