Is it April already? How on earth did that happen? March was definitely one of those blink-and-you-miss-it months, although we seem to have achieved a fair amount around the house. Here’s what I’ve been sharing over on my Heather’s Space YouTube channel, in case you missed anything (do subscribe if you want to make sure you get to see the videos as soon as I post them). As you’re probably more than aware, March has been big on decluttering for us, as I embarked on The 30 Day Minimalism game. Here’s me, right at the start, attempting to film a… View Post

Ok, so I met up with a few of my favourite people yesterday (Sarah-Lou, Katy, Jeska, Mel and Emma I’m looking at you), and I got a slap on the wrist for not doing a bit more shouting about my YouTube channel, Heather’s Space, and the videos I’ve been sharing over there recently. So to remedy this, I thought it might be an idea to post a monthly update here on the blog of what’s been going on video-wise, starting with  February. There’s some exciting video news I can’t wait to share with you soon – half term and a nasty bout of tonsillitis has rather messed with my video mojo but I’ll be returning to YouTube soon with some fun-packed (and informative, of course) videos shot from home. I can’t wait to get filming again. If you have any subjects you think I should tackle in one of my vlogs or a burning interiors question or debate you’d like my take on, do let me know – I always love hearing your ideas and suggestions. In the meantime, you may have… View Post

What do you mean we’re already 12 days into October? I’m ignoring this small (probably quite important) detail, and am going to share a round up of what I was chatting about over on my YouTube channel in September anyway. First up a little tour around my home office (complete with mortifying footage of what it looked like before I cleared up for the tour).. My love for houseplants just keeps growing (!), and so I share some tips for beginners with my pick of the three easiest succulents to grow at home. You’ll have to try really hard to… View Post

I’ve been toying with the idea of hanging plates on our staircase wall for age, but as usual finding the time to actually put it into practice has been the challenge. We had a rare child-free couple of nights away down in Brighton recently (pure bliss) and I lapped up the chance to wander round the shops without two small people under my feet. I bought some simple, inexpensive white plates from a shop I fell head-over-heels in love with called Utility. When we got home and unpacked our purchases I resisted the urge to do what I normally do… View Post
