A pair of luxury slippers are on my Christmas wish-list, but as the colder weather sets in, I need something to tide me over. Not wanting to splash out on my dream pair, I decided that an easy DIY option was the best the short-term solution. This simple hack was achieved using a pair of basic slippers I’ve had kicking around (boom boom) in the bottom of my wardrobe for months (if not years), and some iron-on fabric patches which I think I must have got in a goody bag from an event somewhere. A brand new tribe is joining the Tribal Tournament at Just So 2017, and there’s much excitement about the costume and face paint possibilities the Bee Tribe offers. The bee tribal head is one of the most beautiful from this year’s designs, so I was excited to create a bee face paint version (using a Snazaroo party pack and a Snazaroo set of brushes).… View Post

Victoria’s fantastically easy lion headdress is the perfect partner for my lion face paint design for the Just So Tribal Tournament 2017. Over to Victoria now to share the instructions… Hear me roar! The kings of the jungle are ready to prowl and pounce in their golden fur and wild manes. Lion costumes are all about texture so make use of any scraps of fabrics – velvets, wools etc – it doesn’t matter if they don’t match as it’s the hair/ mane effect that will instantly roar lion! For this version you will need a stretchy hair band or circle of elastic… View Post
